Have you browsed Etsy lately? It’s the best site, really. If you haven’t been there, it is a collection of online shops that offer only handmade items. It runs the gamut from art, (think personalized art for your kids’ rooms, and wall stickers), jewelry, paper goods, fashion, and well, pretty much anything you can think of. It’s amazing and I can spend hours just browsing from shop to shop. One of the things I did for Ivy’s birth was to invest in a few new stroller blankets for her, and while doing that, came across Lauren’s shop on Etsy - Frank & Me. I ended up with more than just one of her adorable [perfect size, super soft] blankets, a boo boo pack (contains flax seed, made with flannel, throw it in the freezer for the next head-bump ouch.) and some wash cloths for the tub. I have used that blanket (and all the stuff I purchased from her) so much for these past 9+ months that I just went back online last week to order another blanket from her (the one shown!) since I keep the first one in the car for the carseat (now that she’s out of the infant seat).
I also just ordered this teething elephant – it’s a non-toxic stuffy. You soak his trunk in water and freeze him for a bit so baby has something cold to sooth her gums with! Genius. I can’t wait to try it with Ivy.
I love her stuff, plain and simple. She’s a modern mama in Bend, Oregon and Frank is her 2-year old baby boy (she’s expecting her second child in March!).

I love etsy. I have been shopping like a madlady on there this past few weeks. My son’s name is Madden, so its impossible to find anything with his name on it. I have ordered his first Christmas ornament, a 1 year birthday tshirt with his name on it, a water bottle and now I sure do love the blanky cape!!! Super cute!!!
